June and July meetings, 2010

On Thursday, June 24th, we will meet at the Westbank Library, upstairs at 10:am for a few hours of crafting:

If you think you will be there, let me know, so that I can have plenty of beading supplies for everyone to make a necklace or two, earrings, etc. Plus we can sort and swap ideas for future Green $elf! repurposed craft donations for library fund raising. Or just bring along one of your own unfinished beading or hand sewing projects to work on. Additional donations of gently used craft supplies are welcomed.

Our July meeting will be at 3:00pm on Wednesday, July 21st at the Westbank Library. Green $elf! will be leading an Environmental appreciation workshop for 8-11 year-olds, called “The World Around Us”. If you are interested in assisting by providing adult leadership, and helping to man one of our hands-on demos let Heather Proctor, or Beth Plowes know. Or contact us, if you would like to set up a demo-table of your own with a display to do with nature to share with the kiddos.
