Thursday March 3rd at 2:00pm, the group will be discussing the book on sustainability, “Cradle to Cradle” – “the authors McDonough and Braungart explain how products can be designed from the outset so that , after their useful lives, they will provide nourishment for something new”. The Army Corps of Engineers as well as other organizations use this book as a guideline for sustainability planning. “Cradle to Cradle® Certification is a multi-attribute eco-label that assesses a product’s safety to humans and the environment and design for future life cycles…………………”
If you can’t get hold of a copy of the book, feel free to read other related material and more current books and report back on them to the group.
