Seedling, Seed and Plant Swap

First - remember to recognize Earth Hour this Saturday 8:30pm local time.

then, join us Thursday April 7th anytime between 11:00am and 1:00pm for our popular annual “Seedling, Seed and Plant Swap”. This will take place at Beth’s house which is close to the library - email me if you are interested (plowes AT austin.rr.com), and I’ll send you a map.
I already have okra, beans, tomatoes, peas parsley, dill, cucumbers, and probably a few other five inch high seedlings ready for thinning out and to be established in their new homes. I have plenty of pots and soil also, but bring along your extras, as I’m sure they will be able to find new homes.

May 5th we’ll be back at the library and our 2:00pm time for a discussion of “the power of nature in current events” – bring along an article about the weather, the earth, the air, our water, plus your opinions, some science if you have it, and we'll gossip about the world.
